ABOUT THE PROJECT
The project aims at building productive communities of young people capable of supporting self-directed growth and positive citizenship. The vision is to link quality learning and sustainable livelihood for tribal communities, reaching out to children and youth.
It also hopes to sensitize people to their counterparts in less privileged circumstances and facilitate exchange of resources, opportunities and competencies between stakeholders and the school. This will help contribute to the long term development of the school.
To summarise the scope of this project, it lies in three zones. First to develop a module design that responds to a child's essentials at an individual level. Connecting support groups to continue to nurture the relationship. Secondly designing strategies to modify the shared classroom space to better accommodate and enhance the study and stay related activities of the children as a group. Lastly developing ideas in the form of appendages or new elements accommodating existing activities for the school premises to function as an active community space.

VOLUNTEER ACTION

A support base of multiple stakeholders that sustain the project through its journey. This ever-growing yet fluid network allows each individual to participate as per his or her capacity.
We rely entirely on volunteering to advance the process of rejuvenating the ashram school. This involves conceptualizing and effecting events through the year. Central to effective organization are fundraising to support the events and creative thinking to innovate ways for betterment of the current scenario at infrastructural, educational and entrepreneurial levels.
The aim is to build a network to help strengthen, express and expand the potential of the community for self-sustenance in the long run. Volunteers work closely with the students and school authorities as mentors.
